A Mini Update

Fans of despondency!

Firstly, I just want to say thank you for all the support you’ve given me and the series these past few years.  Despondent Mega Man has been really fun to create, and it makes me very happy that there are people out there enjoying it.  Feedback on Cannibal Crossing has been positive so far too, so look forward to more of those comics as well!

As some of you might now, I’ve been working on my own personal comic series.  Weekly DMM/CC updates have unfortunately slowed down the project, but I’m happy to report that I’ve started working on it again, and hope to have the first book done by the end of May. “Alice in Slumberland” is an all-ages 24-page comic about a girl genius named Alice Frame.  Her friend Kevin is having vivid nightmares, so Alice invents a device to let her enter his mind and “fight his demons.”  This is the first book in what I hope will become an ongoing series.  I have several story ideas already, so I see it having a bright future.

Why am I telling you about all of this?  Why, to get you hyped, of course!  Once “Alice in Slumberland” is done, it will be available to buy!  I’ll be offering it both in print and as a digital download.  Pricing will be announced closer to the book’s completion.  In the meantime, I’m starting a new weekly post I’m calling “Frame by Frame,” which will chronicle my progress with the first book.  This will prove to you all that I’m working on it, and give me motivation to make real progress, so it’s win win!

I also want to remind everyone that my other comic, Night Terror, is still up for sale on Gumroad! It’s not video game themed, but it’s a fun little scary story!  If you want a printed version (because I have those too!) you can email me at jessedurona@gmail.com, and we’ll work out the details!

That’s it for now.  Thanks for reading this far!  See you next Tuesday!
